IN THE PIT: REMY BOND

JUNE 27, 2025- EL REY THEATRE

I had just started liestening to Remy Bond, and I instantly fell in love with her music.

REMY BOND

Remy Bond is a natural-born storyteller, and that shone through during her performance at the El Rey Theatre. Her 1960s pinup Americana aesthetic evokes a cinematic glamour that reminded me of the style I first fell in love with back in 2016. She is her own person with her own style and she makes sure to show that at every turn.

The show was very entertaining. It had a storyline in a way. Each song felt like it was intentionally placed and neatly incorporated into her narrative. She played her hits Dont Go Back To Paris and Summer Song.

Her vocal delivery was very nostalgic. This was very fitting for the show as it felt like we were looking at a glimpse of a distant memory. Many fans embraced the vibe, arriving in retro dresses and signature hibiscus flower headpieces, adding to the immersive, vintage feel of the night.

All in all, The show was a hit — a beautifully styled, emotionally rich experience that left a lasting impression. I walked in curious and left a new fan.
