OCTOBER 25TH & 26TH- BMO STADIUM

Night 1: October 25th, 2025

Believe it or not, this is my first Twenty One Pilots Concert.

I came to the stadium on the first night; I was super excited since I was approved for a photo pass from the publicist. I could not miss this chance! I had been listening to Twenty One Pilots since I was a freshman in college, but I have known about them since I was in middle school.

Once we got into the photo pit, the crowd was already anticipating their appearance with excitement! The stadium was sold out for the first night, and Dayglow had opened up for the show about 30 minutes prior, and they were able to satisfy some lingering nerves before the show started. Almost everyone was dressed to the T with their gear: paint-smeared outfits, paint-smeared hands, paint smeared all the way up to their necks. You get the gist, haha!

THE FANS

“TOP! TOP! TOP!”

We were about 2–3 minutes away from Twenty One Pilots entering the stage, and the crowd was filled to the brim with excitement. I even got a bracelet from a fan in the crowd!

The lights then dimmed and the fans erupted!

The opening song of the night was Overcompensate. Josh Dun enters the stage to start his drum solo for the beginning of the song. Within the first minute Tyler Joseph bursts into the stage jumping off of his piano.

The fans were reciting the song word for word up until the very end. The visuals were stunning, the show started with all red lighting, this played in part of the storytelling that was present in both the Clancy and Breach albums. They then played The Contract which is one of my favorite songs in Breach, then RAWFEAR. The night was just getting started.

Unfortunately, I had to leave but that did not stop me from coming back for night two.

Night 2 October 26th, 2025

This was the final night of the tour, and it ended off with a bang! By the end of the night, no one knew whether to laugh, cry, meet new people, or remain inside and reminisce on the night that had just happened. I ended up getting another bracelet too!

Bracelets from that night

One the day of the concert, everyone received a bracelet that synced up with the stadium and lit up throughout the concert. I stayed for the entire show this time and it was a whole different experience than what I witnessed the day prior. The setlist flowed like chapters in a book. You will have your upbeat moments and the slower moments. The crowd was huge and the entire stadium was nearly sold out, but Tyler’s interactions with the audience made the arena feel intimate despite the massive crowd.

They transitioned to playing classics like Stressed Out, Heathens, Ride, and Chlorine. The finale, Trees, was different. You knew the show was about to end, but you had to cherish this moment as you knew it may be a while before the next concert came around. However, it was a nice end to the night as smoke and confetti rained down onto the audience. At the end, some people brought small baggies to save the confetti as a memento.

What stood out the most was how much of an emotional journey it has been for a lot of people. Some people have been listening to Twenty One Pilots since 2009; some people have been to at least 10 of their concerts. People were able to connect and relive each moment from the past couple of decades. You could definitely feel the bond shared with everyone that helped so many people who may have been struggling, whether it be through living life or life in general.

Leaving the show, I may have been tired, but it was an amazing experience, and I will be looking forward to the next show in the future.
